Week 3- Computer Forensics

All the business that the Bacon Flipper is going to make has to be kept confidential. It would be useless if the company didn't have enough security and protection to keep this information safe. The company needs this security so that no competitors of Bacon Flipper will know of its business partners and transactions. In addition to information security, the business will also need to know which methods of payment to use when paying for resources.

Since it is so risky to use debit cards and cold hard cash, we will use credit cards to pay for everything. It's easier on credit because the company will be able to manage the money and if we ever go over the amount of money that we have in our checking accounts, we can always have our bank contact us to tell us about our overdraw. When we are on our company's bank accounts, we have to be especially careful with our surroundings and where we access our information because information can be accessed from anywhere, especially since our company is so successful. Since that is the case, the most important rule for when we access the company's bank accounts is to access it by our personal laptops or at the company's computers. This is because we have complete control over our own personal items and the company's computer will be secured. However if we were to access information through our smart phones, then we would be at risk because smart phones are small and are very easily lost. Information on smart phones may seem to be erased but it is still retrievable. If our company's checking and banking account numbers were retrieved, then that would be the end of our company.

The last thing that we need is managing credit. We need great accountants and great banks to help us create this good credit so that we may be able to bring in the big bucks in the future. We need good credit to get loans and big amounts of money so that we can expand the Bacon Flipper and make it more than what it already is. But nothing can happen if we don't have the people there to help us and if we don't have the security to help us make it happen. The best way to do this is by having high expectations for security-oriented people and our company's monetary information will be kept safe.

Week 2-Spreadsheet Essentials

In order for The Bacon Flipper to work, we're going to have to utilize spreadsheet essentials whether it be Microsoft Excel or some other spreadsheet company. We need spreadsheet so that we can see things clearly. We need to know the costs of input so that we can plan accordingly. If there are other competitors in the market that have such kinds of technology as we do, then we will have to use spreadsheet to monitor the amounts of money that our competitors are making so that we can track them and watch them. If they are making a lot of money then we will know that they are doing something special that we aren't doing and maybe we can try to steal their idea, tweak it and use it to make more money. We can only see if we are making progress with our company by using numbers to record and there is no better way than spreadsheets.

We need spreadsheet to record our suppliers and anything that might have an effect on our supply of resources that we need in order to make the Bacon Flipper. If there is new technology for example, or if there are substitutes for bacon that is closing out the Bacon Market, we will have to use spreadsheet to record these numbers so that we can take actions to restore the Bacon Market as soon as possible because at the end of the day, all we want to do is make money. However, if there is something that will enhance the bacon market, we need to watch that just as closely. If people like to eat eggs with bacon, then we will make sure to keep a hawk's eye on those eggs. Whenever the price of eggs go up, bacon prices can go up also because people eat eggs with bacon. However, if the price of sausages go down, people may end up buying more sausages because people also eat eggs with sausage and that may mean that people won't eat bacon which mean that they won't need the Bacon Flipper. All of these observations wouldn't be possible if we didn't have spreadsheet to record those numbers.

Finally, we can use spreadsheet to record seller's expectations. We can send surveys and questionnaires to customers of the Bacon Flipper to see what they like and don't like about the product. Whatever we can change, we will change for the better. After collecting results, we can put them on a spreadsheet and analyze the results to see what we should and should not do with the product. In other words, spreadsheet is essential.

Week 1- Entrepreneurship

In a fast and growing economy, companies strive to find ways to keep themselves ahead of the game and put themselves ahead of the competition. The best way to stay ahead of the competition is through the internet. Using various forms of social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and even YouTube. With these forms of social media, companies are able to communicate with the general public about new and upcoming products, promotions, sales, and anything that will attract customers to buy their products. The internet and social media is the heart and the start of entrepreneurship and like King Midas, it can turn any idea into gold.

Since we are using the internet, some or many people are familiar with YouTube and it's entertainers. Frequent video makers have created the term "vlog" which is a blog but in video form. Some video makers are just making video for fun or for money. A popular video maker is EpicMealTime. They are a bunch of Canadian guys who like to create monstrous meals using various types of meat, candy, sauce, and bacon. EpicMealTime uses bacon in every one of their gargantuan creations and i think that it would be wise to create a bacon flip machine.

This bacon flip machine will consist of an oven and 4 flip stations inside the oven with each flip station consisting of two steel sheets with tiny holes in them. In preparing the bacon, the bacon will be put in between the two sheets of steel and they will be put into the oven. Since baking bacon will amount to lots of bacon grease, there will be a tray at the bottom of the oven to collect all the bacon grease so that bacon lovers can save the grease for later and use it in various alcoholic concoctions or salad dressing. The bacon flip machine will flip the bacon twice during each cooking session and it will result in fresh and beautifully made bacon with no need for aluminum foil or massive amounts of soap.

The whole point of this bacon flip machine is to make bacon easy to make without all the hassle of washing and degreasing the bacon. It's fast, it's efficient and it savors every part of the bacon without hurting the bacon. Many times, when people bake bacon in the oven in a pan, the grease that is generated from the bacon will be absorbed by the bacon, making the bacon too greasy and too disgusting to eat. The Bacon Flip Machine will help to save the bacon from too much grease while having just enough grease to make any meal a monstrous meal.
